Jules REALLY loves sav.
She especially loves sharing it with her friends. And sometimes, especially over the holiday season, one normal sized bottle just doesn't go far enough...
So to celebrate those extra special occasions we thought we'd produce some party-size bottles. Great for get togethers and festive feasts, we only made a handful of these (and Jules has dibs on the first few for herself) so get in quick!

JULES TAYLOR MARLBOROUGH SAUVIGNON BLANC 2024

"Intense and pungent, powerful and refreshing bouquet of passionfruit and red apples, mandarin peel, crisp green pear, nettles and cape-gooseberry. A soon as the wine touches the palate I am salivating with plush, ripe fruit flavours that reflect the bouquet, there’s a fresh herb quality, a salinity and fresh basil herb suggestion. Delicious and ready. Best drinking from late 2024 through 2026+"

JULES TAYLOR MARLBOROUGH SAUVIGNON BLANC 2024

"Offering terrific fruit purity and power, the wine shows kiwifruit, feijoa, crunchy apple and jasmine aromas on the nose. The palate delivers excellent weight and fruit intensity, wonderfully supported by saline texture and bright acidity, finishing impressively long and satisfying."

JULES TAYLOR MARLBOROUGH SAUVIGNON BLANC 2024

"This is a strong, classically styled bottling by Marlborough stalwart Jules Taylor. A heady combo of pineapple, passionfruit and grass is underscored by dried herbs. It flows to a palate that’s crisp, dry and peachy right to the finish. Easy sipping with lovely balance, tension and textural weight for food friendliness."

JULES TAYLOR PINOT GRIS 2024

Complex nose with layers of subtle pear, smoke, flint and earthy minerality. The palate is medium-bodied, dry and serious with lightly chewy phenolics framing the subtle fruit which holds through to the finish. Currently quite closed, it will unfurl in a year or so to deliver spicy complexity.

JULES TAYLOR MARLBOROUGH SAUVIGNON BLANC 2024

Robust lemon sorbet, pomelo and fresh apple notes mingle with a ripe pear accent. Details of white pepper, lemon blossoms and ginger add an air of elegance, with a fine thread of acidity.

JULES TAYLOR MARLBOROUGH SAUVIGNON BLANC 2024

"So 2025 marks the twenty-fifth vintage for Jules Taylor, and with this release you can see where twenty-four years of winemaking excellence can get you! A delightfully expressive example of the variety and place. From the go it's red apple skin, passionfruit, blackcurrant leaf and a suggestion of the hallmark gooseberry, here honed rather than allowed free reign. The palate possesses a quartzy minerality, with a little salinity roaming through the finish. A lovely example."

JULES TAYLOR MARLBOROUGH SAUVIGNON BLANC 2024

"An elegant and detailed expression of sauvignon, the airy floral aromas weave between grapefruit, ripe apple and sweet herb notes on this rather complex creature. The dry palate has fine phenolic grip, giving a sense of chalkiness and restraint to the otherwise perfumed flavours. Although approachable already, this has the depth and complexity to warrant keeping for a year or two as more unfolds."

CRAZY ABOUT SAUVIGNON BLANC

Jules explains why she loves Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc so much.

For Marlborough born Jules, Sauvignon Blanc is personal. It's the variety that put New Zealand on the world wine map, and nowhere else in the world has that exact combination of soils, UV light, and daily temperature shifts to rival Marlborough's intense powerful flavours.

Jules spends weeks before harvest pacing the rows, tasting the berries to capture the perfect moment to pick and lock in all those flavours. "It jumps out of the glass," she says — and even when travelling overseas, one sniff takes her straight back home.

FOOD MATCH

Sauvignon Blanc's intense flavours and juicy acidity make it a great wine to pair with bold dishes. Try it alongside casual fresh sourdough dunked in good quality olive oil and plenty of dukkah, or for a main course try crispy skinned snapper fillet with warm puy lentils and a herby lemon sauce.

FAQs

How big is a Magnum?

A magnum is 1.5L or twice the size of a regular 750ml bottle. That's 10 standard 150ml glasses!

Is this wine vegan friendly?

Yes — all of Jules' white and rosé wines, including this one, are vegan-friendly.

Is this a dry or sweet wine?

Yes - All of Jules' wines are made in a dry style. This wine is completely dry (1.4g/L residual sugar), with the ripe tropical fruit and herbaceous character Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc is known for, balanced by bright acidity.

Does this wine see any oak?

No, as with most classic Marlborough Sauvignon Blancs, this wine is fermented in stainless steel at cool temperatures to keep the fruit flavours fresh and vibrant.

How should I serve it?

Serve it chilled, with good friends and maybe alongside some fresh and tasty food. But don't get too hung up - Jules firmly belives wine is for enjoying and sharing, not for worrying about.

How long will this wine keep?

This is a wine made to be enjoyed, not forgotten in a cellar. It is best enjoyed within a few years of the vintage on the label.
