All grapes, wines and production facilities for Jules Taylor Wines are 100% accredited by the world-leading New Zealand Sustainable Winegrowers scheme where we minimise water, energy, chemical and carbon footprint.
SUSTAINABILITY IN THE WINERY
All our wines are made with a minimal intervention approach. All our white and rosé wines have been Vegan friendly since 2018.
Solar panels have been installed at our winery, providing 70% of vintage power requirements. The team are also working with a third-party certification scheme to measure and reduce carbon emissions.

We are proud to bottle our wines at Wineworks NZ - NZ’s first certified Carbon Zero wine bottler. They continue to significantly reduce their carbon footprint and exceed their targets in this area.
Our packaging suppliers Chandler, CCL and MCC have reduced carbon emissions and waste across our supply chain.

We installed solar panels at Jules Taylor Wines HQ and any additional power is purchased from 100% renewable sources.
We have regenerated the waterway by our head office with native species that increase the biodiversity of the area and provide a habitat for local species of birds and insects.
Jules and George look after their staff by offering a four-day week to allow our small team to balance work, life and family, and to make the most of Marlborough’s relaxed, outdoorsy lifestyle.
